Job Description – Offshore Heavylift Project for Aramco, KSA (2025)

Sheffield Energies is looking to hire qualified and experienced professionals for an upcoming Offshore Heavylift Project with Aramco in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). The project is set to mobilize by the end of February or March 2025, depending on the position. Priority will be given to candidates who have prior experience working in KSA, especially on Aramco projects.

This project involves the deployment of a highly skilled barge crew for offshore operations, where each position plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and safe execution of offshore heaving and lifting activities.

The positions available are across various disciplines, from electrical and mechanical to scaffolding and rigging. As a part of our project team, you will be working in a challenging, dynamic environment and will contribute to the success of one of the most significant offshore heaving and lifting projects in KSA.

Available Positions:

1. Chief Electrician DP Vessel
   Lead the electrical operations on DP (Dynamic Positioning) vessels. Ensure maintenance, troubleshooting, and operations of electrical systems.
2. Electrical Foreman
   Supervise and manage electrical maintenance and repair work, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
3. Electrician
   Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on offshore platforms and vessels.
4. Admin/Clerks
   Provide administrative support for project management and logistics. Handle documentation and communication tasks efficiently.
5. Mechanic Foreman
   Supervise mechanical maintenance operations and ensure all mechanical equipment is functioning optimally.
6. Mechanics
   Perform routine mechanical maintenance and repair on offshore equipment.
7. Project IT
   Oversee the IT infrastructure for the project, providing technical support and ensuring smooth communication networks.
8. Deck Foreman
   Manage and supervise deck operations, ensuring safety and efficiency on the vessel.
9. Deck Leaderman
   Lead the deck crew in performing tasks related to lifting, handling, and positioning cargo on the vessel.
10. Rigger Foreman (Aramco Approved)
    Oversee rigging operations, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. Must be Aramco approved.
11. Riggers (Aramco Approved)
    Perform rigging tasks, lifting and securing heavy loads safely. Must be Aramco approved.
12. Scaffolding Foreman (Aramco Approved)
    Supervise scaffolding operations on the offshore platform, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Aramco approval is required.
13. Scaffolders (Aramco Approved)
    Install, maintain, and dismantle scaffolding structures. Must be Aramco approved.
14. Canusa Field Joint Coating Applicators
    Apply field joint coating to pipes in compliance with industry standards.
15. Offshore Pedestal Crane Operator (Aramco Approved)
    Operate offshore cranes to lift heavy loads. Must hold Aramco-approved certification.
16. Offshore Tuggerhoist Operator
    Operate tuggerhoists for offshore operations, handling large loads.
17. Fitter Foreman
    Supervise fitters in assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems.
18. Structural Fitters/Spacers
    Perform fitting and welding tasks on structural components.
19. Chief Storekeeper
    Oversee all storekeeping and inventory operations, ensuring material availability and proper stock management.
20. Storekeeper
    Manage material requisition and inventory control on-site.
21. L2 Certification Controller
    Ensure all workers hold valid certifications and ensure compliance with project requirements.
