Job Description – Bayan Dental Hiring CSSD Technician and Dental Hygienist (January 2025)

These positions require individuals with strong expertise in their respective fields, valid Kuwait medical licenses, and the ability to join immediately. Position 1: CSSD Technician

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sterilization Process:
   • Perform decontamination, cleaning, and sterilization of all dental instruments and equipment.
   • Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of sterilization machines such as autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners.
2. Inventory Management:
   • Maintain an adequate stock of sterilized instruments for clinical operations.
   • Monitor and report any damage or shortage of instruments to the concerned department.
3. Compliance and Safety:
   • Adhere to infection control and sterilization protocols as per international standards.
   • Ensure proper handling and disposal of medical waste.
4. Record-Keeping:
   • Maintain accurate logs of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance.
   • Ensure documentation is up-to-date and complies with MOH guidelines.

Position 2: Dental Hygienist

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care:
   • Conduct oral health assessments and educate patients on preventive dental care.
   • Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth.
   • Provide fluoride treatments and sealant applications as needed.
2. Collaboration:
   • Assist dentists during procedures, ensuring smooth patient care delivery.
   • Communicate with patients regarding their treatment plans and follow-up care.
3. Compliance and Safety:
   • Maintain infection control standards during procedures and clean-ups.
   • Follow MOH regulations and clinic policies.
4. Documentation:
   • Update and maintain accurate patient records, including treatment history and progress.
   • Assist with maintaining dental equipment and supplies inventory.

Requirements (for Both Roles)

• Education: Diploma in respective fields (CSSD Technician or Dental Hygiene).
• Experience: 4-5 years of relevant experience.
• License: A valid Kuwait Medical License is mandatory.
• Residency: Must be locally available in Kuwait.
• Skills:
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
