ADRA Kenya is seeking dynamic, qualified, and dedicated individuals to join their team for the roles of Research Project Assistant and Research Project Coordinator. These roles are pivotal to the successful implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of research initiatives aimed at addressing key community needs and supporting sustainable development in Kenya.
Position Overview
Research Project Assistant
The Research Project Assistant will provide administrative and logistical support to the research team. They will work closely with the Project Coordinator to ensure the smooth execution of project activities and contribute to the preparation of research documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in data collection, data entry, and preliminary analysis.
- Support the preparation and organization of research tools and materials.
- Coordinate logistics for field visits, including scheduling and arranging transportation.
- Maintain records and documentation related to research activities.
- Communicate with stakeholders to facilitate research activities and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Qualifications:
- A degree or diploma in a relevant field such as Social Sciences, Research Methodology, or related disciplines.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management tools.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Research Project Coordinator
The Research Project Coordinator will oversee and manage the entire lifecycle of the research project. They will lead the research team, liaise with stakeholders, and ensure the project meets its objectives within the specified timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop research frameworks and methodologies.
- Lead data collection and analysis efforts, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Prepare detailed research reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Manage the project budget and ensure resource allocation aligns with project goals.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the research team, including assistants.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Research, Project Management, or related fields.
- Proven experience in leading research projects.
- Excellent leadership and project management skills.
- Advanced knowledge of research methodologies and data analysis tools.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
