Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing all housekeeping operations, including room cleaning, laundry, and public area maintenance.
- Staff Supervision: Lead and train housekeeping staff to ensure adherence to cleaning standards and procedures.
- Quality Control: Conduct inspections of guest rooms, corridors, and public spaces to ensure cleanliness and presentation meet the resort’s high standards.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies, including ordering and maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
- Guest Satisfaction: Address and resolve guest concerns promptly, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and hygiene practices across housekeeping operations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to coordinate activities and enhance guest experiences.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist in preparing staff schedules, managing budgets, and maintaining records of housekeeping activities.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in housekeeping within a 4-star or 5-star hotel or resort.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional cleanliness and service standards.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in managing housekeeping software is a plus.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Education: Degree or diploma in hospitality management, housekeeping management, or a related field.
- Other Attributes:
- A passion for maintaining excellence in cleanliness and presentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
