Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing all housekeeping operations, including room cleaning, laundry, and public area maintenance.
  • Staff Supervision: Lead and train housekeeping staff to ensure adherence to cleaning standards and procedures.
  • Quality Control: Conduct inspections of guest rooms, corridors, and public spaces to ensure cleanliness and presentation meet the resort’s high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies, including ordering and maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Address and resolve guest concerns promptly, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and hygiene practices across housekeeping operations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to coordinate activities and enhance guest experiences.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist in preparing staff schedules, managing budgets, and maintaining records of housekeeping activities.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in housekeeping within a 4-star or 5-star hotel or resort.
    • Proven track record of delivering exceptional cleanliness and service standards.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in managing housekeeping software is a plus.
    • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Education: Degree or diploma in hospitality management, housekeeping management, or a related field.
  • Other Attributes:
    • A passion for maintaining excellence in cleanliness and presentation.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
    • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
